Hello, let me introduce myself. I am Dr. Rick Thompson and I
am the owner of The Family Pet Clinic. I was born and raised just
outside Los Angeles, California. I received my Bachelor of Science
degree in Animal Science at the California Polytechnic University,
Pomona. While studying at Cal Poly I spent 5 years working with
an exotic animal trainer for movies, t.v. shows and commercials. I
graduated from Ross University School of medicine in 1991 with
Honors and completed my senior year at Oklahoma State
University. While at OSU I fulfilled an internship at the Oklahoma
City Zoo.

gecko, a parakeet and Pumpkin, a
calico cat adopted at Halloween
